Job Title DevOps Engineer What does a successful Software Developer do at Fiserv? Implement software solutions for disaster recovery and support and troubleshoot technical problems. What you will do:

• Actively participate in a Scrum environment, iterate quickly, and contribute toward key goals.
• Build and deploy using tools: CI/CD, GIT, GitLab, Maven, Docker, JIRA and Confluence.
• Code in Python, YAML, JSON, extensions configurations as when needed. Build/Automate Infrastructure provisioning using Terraform on Azure Cloud( and AWS).
• Implement solutions for disaster recovery, failover and resiliency of the applications and underlying infrastructure.
• Production support and troubleshooting of technical problems, incident management and root cause analysis. What you will need to have:
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
  • 8+ years of Build and Release Engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in building continuous integration pipelines.
  • Solid understanding and practical experience of software development life cycles, with particular emphasis on release engineering functions
  • Strong Python and Shell scripting experience.
  • Highly efficient with continuous integration tool: GitLab with a deep understanding and its different branching methods.
  • Experience integrating a wide variety of tools into a build pipeline, including static code analysis, testing tools, and performance analysis tools.
  • Scripting knowledge on Python, bash and shell and automation skills using these scripts.
  • Hands-on experience in Containerization, deploying applications on Kubernetes platform and monitoring Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience in Azure Cloud(and/or AWS) Cloud and monitoring resources.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, using Terraform.
  • Kubernetes, Azure/AWS for troubleshooting, checking logs etc.
  • Strong knowledge of IP networking, DNS and load balancing
  • Experience in the following:
    • tools/frameworks like GitLab and JIRA
    • Kubernetes platform such as Azure Redhat OpenShift, Azure Kubernetes, etc.
    • Azure (VM, Storage Account, Key Vault, VNET, Alerts, KQL), Docker, Linux
    • Splunk, Dynatrace What would be great to have: --- Experience in NoSQL database. --- Experience with Apache, NGINX or similar web servers. --- Experience working within an agile project management framework.
