Job Description:
Our client, a leading innovator in the automotive and technology
industry, is seeking a Hardware Engineer to join their team. As a
Hardware Engineer, you will be part of the Hardware Development
Department supporting the Test Development team. The ideal
candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm, innovation, and a proactive
attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job
Title: Hardware Engineer Location: Foster City, CA Pay Range:
What's the Job? Develop, document, and execute component and
system-level hardware testing procedures. Collaborate with
suppliers, design, and system engineers to characterize the
functional performance of hardware components. Conduct development
testing on early prototypes and qualification testing on modules
intended for vehicle use. Create and develop custom test setups,
including load simulators, test harnesses, and Python scripts.
Draft and present test plans, design reviews, and data reviews to
ensure quality and compliance standards are met. What's Needed?
B.S. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical
Engineering, or a similar discipline. 4 years of relevant
professional experience in hardware development and testing.
Experience with testing electronic, automotive, aerospace, or
vehicle components. Proficiency with design tools such as Altium
for PCBA and 3DExperience or Catia for modeling. Hands-on
experience with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, network
analyzers, environmental chambers, and spectrum analyzers;
familiarity with Ubuntu and Python is essential. What's in it for
