General Purpose and Scope of Position:
The Manager of Data Solutions is responsible for leading the
development and maintenance of new and existing data lake ingestion
and data warehouse objects in a cloud environment. This role is
responsible for overseeing the Data Solutions team by setting
standards for data solutions best practices and managing all
functional activities of the team. This position requires a strong
understanding of data movement, security & modeling, and cloud
architecture. The Manager of Data Solutions will partner with
technical and functional teams across the company to identify and
define business requirements for solutions to their data needs.
This individual leads a diverse team of data solutions
professionals throughout the project life cycle, from requirements
to production implementation, with emphasis on data ingestion, data
architecture, development, testing, and support of data
lake/warehouse in a hands-on fashion as necessary, to ensure timely
deliverables.
