And we highly value "influencing" skills - proficiency at building trusted organizational relationships through integrity, partnering, and thought leadership.Innovation Group Research & Development team located in San Francisco is currently looking for Strategic and visionary technical leader/Manager. We explore and experiment with emerging technologies that help elevate our relationship with our customers and help our team members become more productive and innovative. We collaborate with various Lines of Business (LOB) within the bank and with technology innovators outside to create an intersection where we apply technology to create business value for the bank and our customers.This leader will be leading a small team of individual contributors who will research on emerging trends on multiple topic areas including but not limited to Digital Assistants, Voice Biometrics, Digital Identity and develop business use cases that can lead to Proof of Concepts, Proof of Technologies carried out by the group. Most of these initiatives will involve use of ML, Android, Google and Web based technologies. Provide guidance across business with deep technical insight and complementary business/commercial acumen. - Be a proponent for advanced technology ideation by mapping the overall technology landscape to track and acquire advanced tech capabilities.The key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Experience - in financial services domain (example Bill Pay, retail payments etc.,)
  • Good knowledge of retail banking architecture and digital transformation in retail banking
  • Apply appropriate risk management discipline to ensure R&D activities and resulting ideas align with Wells Fargo risk frameworkAs a Team Member Manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business. Specifically you will:
    • Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them.
    • Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasks. -

      Required Qualifications
      • 7+ years of strategic planning experience
      • 3+ years of management experience

        Other Desired Qualifications
        • 15+ years of leading architecture, technology vision and strategy for large scale enterprise applications.
        • 5+ years of technology research, product delivery and/or strategy and ideally you have worked across a mix of technical and commercial disciplines.
        • Broad end-to-end systems experience spanning enterprise big data, networked communications, IoT, distributed compute and embedded systems.
        • Hands on experience with design reviews, code review and agile development practices.
        • Experience designing and implementing RESTful services.
        • Demonstrated success leading teams and developing individuals.
        • Polished verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
        • Proven ability to collaborate with technology teams and business partners including senior leaders, partner groups, technical teams and other functional areas with ability to build and cultivate relationships.
        • Strong technology foundation in diverse technologies from client/server to cloud, Fullstack, Machine Learning and IoT
        • Ability to see the technology world through the lens of ML/AI and data and articulate systems needs as means to craft ML/AI derived insights.
        • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
        • Abiility to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed complex matrix environment.
        • Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills.
        • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment.
        • Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change.
        • A BA/BS or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.Personal Attributes:
