Part Time Oral Surgical Assistant Muir Oral, Facial & Dental Implant Surgery Part Time Monday-Friday: 7:30-12:30 $28 - $32 per hour based on experience Muir Oral, Facial & Dental Implant Surgery is looking to hire a full-time Oral Surgical Assistant for our location in Walnut Creek, California. Detail-oriented individuals with outstanding clinical skills and a patient-centered approach to their work are encouraged to apply. Duties & Responsibilities Assisting during surgical procedures Assist patients before, during, and after surgery Aid with anesthesia/sedation and nitrous oxide Taking 3D Scans, Panoramic, and Periapical radiographs Educate patients on procedures along with pre-and post-operative care Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in accordance with applicable infection control guidelines Ensure equipment is maintained according to manufacturer's guidelines Prepare tray setups for oral surgery procedures and maintain adequate supply levels in each operatory Treatment planning Qualifications 5+ years of assisting in an oral surgery or dental assisting setting CPR Certified Knowledge of Dentrix or DSN dental software is preferred Job Type: Part-time Salary: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 25 per week Schedule: Monday to Friday No weekends Experience: IV sedation: 1 year (Preferred) dental oral surgery assisting: 1 year (Preferred) Employment Type: Part Time Salary: $28 - $32 Hourly Bonus/Commission: No
