Job Description:
The position is at a 590-bed hospital in Kansas City, MO,
featuring an open ICU with 44 CCU/ICU beds, including Medical,
Surgical, and Neuro units. Staffing involves 2 physicians daily
(7a-7p) and 1 at night (7p-7a). Physicians will participate in a
developing ECMO program. Offers a competitive salary
($540k-----"$5.46M/year), full benefits, and a stipend for Medical
Director duties. Requires Critical Care Board Certification and
relocation to Kansas City. Uses Meditech EMR, provides paid
malpractice with unlimited tail coverage, and promotes a collegial
environment with hospitalist programs. Facility features
comprehensive services including trauma, stroke, burn care, GI,
oncology, obstetrics, NICU, transplant, and more. Kansas City
offers excellent amenities, affordable living, and diverse
neighborhoods. Schedule includes 12-hour shifts and night shifts,
with full-time employment and benefits.
