Job Description:
Join Sports Physical Therapy (SPT) as an Occupational Therapy
Assistant and become a vital part of our dynamic team, which is
dedicated to providing top-tier rehabilitative care to athletes and
active individuals. In this role, you will assist in developing and
administering therapy plans, employing cutting-edge practices to
enhance patient recovery and athletic performance. This position
offers the opportunity to work closely under the supervision of
expert occupational therapists in a stimulating and supportive
environment tailored to sports rehabilitation. Assist occupational
therapists in the evaluation and treatment of patients,
implementing therapeutic plans and tracking progress. Prepare
treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions, ensuring all
resources are available for optimal patient care. Educate patients
and their families on treatment plans, wellness strategies, and
injury prevention, consistent with our sports-focused rehab
programs. Maintain accurate patient records, complying with legal
and regulatory requirements. Assist in the development of
customized care plans catering to patients' specific sports-related
injuries. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to
effectively collaborate with therapists and instruct patients
Capability to prepare and manage therapy equipment A strong
understanding of therapeutic methods and principles applicable to
sports rehabilitation Proficient in maintaining accurate and
detailed patient records Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Certification from the National Board for
Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) A valid state license
as an Occupational Therapy Assistant CPR and First Aid
certifications are beneficial
