Pay: $65 to $70 per hour Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Shift: Night Shift – 3 × 12-hour shifts Assignment Type: Travel | Float Pool Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an acute care hospital setting. This role requires strong clinical skills, flexibility, and the ability to float between Medical-Surgical and Medical-Telemetry units while maintaining safe and effective nursing practices. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation Provide care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions Perform physical and psychosocial assessments and develop nursing diagnoses Collaborate with patients and interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with facility policies Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans as clinically indicated Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management Delegate tasks appropriately and supervise support staff Advocate for patient safety, rights, and informed decision-making Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic health records Contribute to a positive patient care environment and assist with issue resolution Required Skills Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-based environment Physical capability to perform job-related tasks, including lifting, standing, walking, and fine motor activities Commitment to patient satisfaction and quality care standards Requirements Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree or BSN) Valid and active California RN License Current AHA or equivalent BLS certification Experience Minimum 3 years of recent acute care experience Previous travel nursing experience required Experience in Med/Surg and Med/Tele units preferred Telemetry experience required About our Company: - 22nd Century Technologies Inc., (TSCTI) is one the fastest growing healthcare staffing companies in the United States.
