Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - Discipline: Therapy - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract Local COTA – Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant | $50 | 35-40 Hours Job Details Position: COTA – Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Shift: Day Shift Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Meal Break: 30 minutes Days: Sunday – Saturday (rotational schedule) Contract Length: 13 Weeks Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours/week Pay Rate: $45– $50 per hour (based on experience) Responsibilities: Assist Occupational Therapists in providing treatment plans to patients Help patients improve daily living and functional skills Document patient progress and report outcomes Work collaboratively with healthcare teams Maintain compliance with facility policies and state regulations Requirements: Active COTA license (CA state or eligible) Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant Previous experience in skilled nursing or healthcare setting preferred Strong communication and patient care skills Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends if needed Ready for your next assignment?
