Description Job Title: Technical Recruiter Location: Blacksburg,
VA Clearance Required: Eligibility for a Secret Security Clearance
(Requires current US Citizenship) ABOUT 1901 GROUP: 1901 Group

IT environments that span on-premise, co-location, and cloud

efficient IT services on a 24x7x365 basis. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Report to the Recruitment Manager regarding candidate statuses,
project initiatives, and day-to-day activities Establishes
recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and
objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs. Builds
applicant sources by researching and contacting community services,
colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet
sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and
benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport. Determines
applicant requirements by studying job description and job
qualifications. Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements;
contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites. Determines
applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing
responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job
requirements. Arranges management interviews by coordinating
schedules; arranges travel, lodging, and meals; escorting applicant
to interviews; arranging community tours. Evaluates applicants by
discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with
managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of
qualifications. Avoids legal challenges by understanding current
legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new
procedures; conducting training. Updates job knowledge by
participating in educational opportunities; reading professional
publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in
professional organizations. Accomplishes human resources and
organizational mission by completing related results as needed.
Supports the Vice President – Human Resources as needed on HR
related projects/initiatives Assist Office Manager with compliance
initiatives and tracking REQUIRED SKILLS: Exposure to government
contract recruiting 2 – 3 years proven experience in the staffing
industry or 2 - 3 years of high volume recruiting experience
Passion for recruiting and experience in pipeline building Strong
social networks and ability to leverage your networks to source
candidates Previous HR experience preferred – including but not
limited to benefits administration, employee relations, HRIS
administration, and performance management Ability to travel up to
25% MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree from an
accredited college or university. CERTIFICATION: PHR/SPHR
