Job Description We’re looking for a Cyber Readiness Consultant - a customer-facing cybersecurity expert who helps organizations operationalize and continuously strengthen their use of CYGNVS. You’ll work directly with our strategic customers through targeted, high-impact engagements designed to deepen platform adoption and resilience readiness. As a subject matter expert, you’ll guide customers through exercises, assessments, and simulations that bring CYGNVS to life in real-world contexts, from tabletop exercises to DFIR maturity reviews. You’ll partner closely with Customer Success, Product, and Sales to identify opportunities to drive measurable impact through engagement and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on, consultative role at the intersection of cybersecurity operations and customer engagement- ideal for someone who loves helping teams move from theory to practice. Responsibilities Deliver defined cyber resilience engagements for Strategic and Growth customers, including tabletop exercises, simulations, and playbook reviews. Conduct DFIR maturity assessments and guide customers on how CYGNVS can support improved readiness. Lead Continuous Playbook Improvement sessions, ensuring incident response plans remain current, actionable, and aligned with CYGNVS best practices. Partner with Customer Success Managers to identify and execute opportunities for deepening customer engagement and platform adoption. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to provide feedback and insights from customer engagements. Create and refine reusable frameworks, templates, and methodologies to scale the Cyber Excellence practice. Participate in customer enablement sessions, webinars, and thought leadership initiatives to showcase CYGNVS’s role in cyber resilience. Required Skills 5 years in cybersecurity consulting, incident response, or cyber risk advisory roles. Deep familiarity with incident response frameworks (NIST, ISO 27035, MITRE ATT&CK, etc.) and tabletop exercise facilitation. Proven experience leading executive-level or cross-functional cybersecurity workshops and tabletop exercises. Ability to translate technical threat and response concepts into clear, actionable business discussions. Strong communication and presentation skills, with comfort engaging senior stakeholders (CISO, CIO, CTO). Experience with SaaS or enterprise software platforms supporting cyber resilience or security operations. Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple engagements and balance structure with flexibility. Excited to be a foundational member of CYGNVS’s Cyber Readiness practice, helping define offerings, frameworks, and best practices for future scale.
