We are currently seeking skilled Front End Web Software Engineers to join our IT & Data Management team in Bentonville, Arkansas. This role involves developing and refining the front-end aspect of our web applications that connect our massive retail operations with customers globally. As an engineer at Walmart, you will work in a fast-paced environment, implementing user-friendly interfaces and contributing to various phases of the software development lifecycle. Develop and implement highly-responsive user interface components using React concepts. Write robust, clean, reusable, and efficient code to build front-end systems. Work collaboratively with design teams to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code. Enhance application performance through testing, troubleshooting, and updating as required. Participate in development discussions and provide innovative solutions for complex technical issues. Monitor and improve front-end performance, and document changes and developments. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize application for maximum speed and scalability. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks, especially React.js. Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software. Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git. Strong understanding of front-end architecture, including performance optimization and cross-browser compatibility.
