  • Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience with statistical data analysis, data mining, and querying (e.g., SQL).
  • At least 1 year of experience managing analytical projects.Preferred Qualifications:
    • 5 years of experience with analysis applications (extracting insights, performing statistical analysis, solving business problems) and coding (Python, R, SQL).
    • 4 years of experience as a data scientist, applying advanced analytics to planning and infrastructure problems.
    • Experience in energy and climate domains or greenhouse gas accounting.About the JobHelp serve Google's global user base of over a billion people. In this role, you will collaborate with the Climate Operations team to ensure Google achieves Net Zero emissions and 24/7 carbon-free energy by 2030. You will define and coordinate Net Zero strategies, develop solutions for decarbonization, and serve as a technical liaison on energy and carbon issues.Google Cloud accelerates digital transformation for organizations worldwide by delivering enterprise solutions leveraging Google's technology, helping developers build sustainably. Customers in over 200 countries rely on Google Cloud for growth and solving critical business challenges.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary is determined by role, location, skills, experience, and education.       • Perform analysis using tools like SQL, R, Python; utilize data infrastructure and models.
      • Gather, extract, validate, and re-structure data from multiple sources to ensure quality.
      • Report KPIs to support business reviews and translate analysis into insights or product opportunities.
      • Provide analytical recommendations to influence product development, with guidance.
